Tint Film Glossary

An important measurement when choosing tint film is VLT, or Visible Light Transmission. This indicates how much visible light passes through the film. For example, a 50 percent VLT allows about half of visible light to pass through. Lower VLT numbers create a darker tint and allow less light to pass through the film.
